Karate for Christ
Statement of Faith: We believe in the Trinity of God, the Virgin Birth, the inspired and preserved Word of God (Ps. 12:6-7), and It rightly divided (2 Tim. 2:15) that Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, and that He died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day, as according to Scripture. We are saved by grace through faith, not of works. Our calling is to equip the Christian Martial Artist to reach out to the lost. We refer theological and counseling issues back to the local church pastors, since our calling is to come alongside them, to win the lost, and to encourage believers to get into fellowship with a local church.
Our Mission:
This is a tremendous ministry that children as well as their parents can participate in. This ministry is not meant as a violent martial arts program, our main motto is "I don't want to fight". We teach how to ward off attackers - it's more of a self defense type class. The difference in this and regular karate is it teaches that there is only one Master and He is God. At the beginning and end of each class we gather in a circle on our knees and have a time of prayer. To advance to a belt color, along with knowing the karate moves, you must memorize a certain Bible verse. For adults in the class, they are taught a different type of karate called Bujutsu with more advanced moves. Adults have to memorize verses as well but also have other steps to complete in order to advance. There is no cost for the class but a love offering is accepted at a going rate of $10 per month, per family. Uniforms are not required but cost about $20, if interested. Classes meet each Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church, Cabot.

Our Mission: The Kid-Safe Network is a proactive, non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, molestation and abduction of our children. It is a national educational system that teaches and informs children and parents about "Danger Awareness". The Kid-Safe Network's national system expeditiously disseminates information about abducted or lost children. The
Kid-Safe Network has recruited and trained a National Staff and a network of
Field Agents who work at providing information and also self-defense techniques
to help women and children avoid and defend themselves during dangerous
situations. We will be more than happy to come to your church or organization to do a demonstration of these techniques. Contact us at one of the options shown below. Come join us and be a part of this great ministry. For our children's sake!
